As the Community Engagement Coordinator, Maegan White works to coordinate volunteer programs, connect community members, and engage our members in stewardship. 

Maegan first found her love for the outdoors exploring the mountains and lakes near her home in South Carolina. She moved to the Eastern Shore to attend college and developed a love for the Chesapeake Bay and rivers of the Eastern Shore. Maegan attended Washington College where she earned a degree in environmental science and political science. 

Maegan first started working at ShoreRivers in the summer of 2022 through a Washington College internship. She joined the team full time in spring of 2023 after being a ShoreRivers intern for nearly a year.
